About this project
CityLife is one of Milan’s most significant urban regeneration projects, transforming the former Fiera Campionaria grounds into a contemporary mixed-use district. Located close to Milan’s historic centre, the development combines premium residences, offices, retail, dining, public spaces and one of the city’s major urban parks.
The district was shaped by an exceptional group of architects, including Zaha Hadid, Arata Isozaki and Daniel Libeskind. Its residential portfolio includes the fluid Hadid Residences and the sculptural Libeskind Residences, while the business district is defined by the Generali Tower, Allianz Tower and PwC Tower.
At the heart of CityLife is a 178,000-square-metre public park with more than 2,000 trees, surrounded by pedestrian areas, restaurants, shopping and cultural activities. The district is entirely pedestrian-focused and directly connected to Milan Metro Line M5 through Tre Torri station.
CityLife continues to evolve through CityWave, designed by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, adding new office, retail and public-realm spaces while completing the district’s long-term masterplan. The district has also achieved Platinum-level LEED, WELL and SITES certifications.
