About this project

East Gate Mall

East Gate Mall is a major shopping and entertainment destination located in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. Developed as part of the Skopje East Gate masterplan by BALFIN Group, the mall combines international and local retail brands, dining, leisure and entertainment in a contemporary shopping environment.

Covering approximately 160,000 square metres of total area, East Gate Mall features a broad retail offering, a large supermarket, fashion and lifestyle stores, electronics retailers, cafés, restaurants and a spacious food court. Its architectural design incorporates a distinctive glass-roofed central boulevard, creating a bright and open atmosphere throughout the shopping centre.

The mall provides approximately 2,000 parking spaces and is conveniently connected to Skopje’s road network, with access to the city centre, the M4 highway and Skopje International Airport.

As a central component of Skopje East Gate, the mall forms part of a wider urban development that also includes residential buildings, green areas and business facilities. It serves as a destination for shopping, dining, entertainment and everyday services for residents and visitors.

East Gate Mall opened in October 2021 and continues to operate as one of Skopje’s leading retail destinations.
