About this project

Terras da Comporta is a large-scale coastal master development on Portugal’s Alentejo coast, approximately one hour south of Lisbon. The project brings together nature, residential living, hospitality, golf and outdoor lifestyle across the Dunas and Torre developments.

The development is built around the landscape of pine forests, dunes, beaches, rice fields and the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve. Residential components are complemented by hotels, tourist villages, sports facilities, wellness, sailing, horse riding and extensive outdoor activities.

Golf is one of the project’s defining characteristics. The Dunas Golf Course, designed by David McLay-Kidd, is an 18-hole links course built over 84 hectares of natural sandy terrain. The Torre Golf Course, designed by Sergio García, adds a second 18-hole championship course to the destination.
